Aurelio Yuen
Aurelio Yuen provides financial planning, accounting and auditing and tax services to closely-held or family-owned businesses, non-profit organizations and investment partnerships.

Business owners and investors require a broad array of services as businesses and financial entities pass through the stages of start-up or acquisition, day-to-day management, and the transfer of ownership. Mr. Yuen offers effective counseling, accounting and tax services on such matters as:

Identifying the form of doing business that best serves tax planning needs and wealth accumulation, while reducing ownership risk.
Creating a management structure that maximizes the talents of the owner-manager group.
Designing systems of internal accounting control that promote the segregation of duties and safeguard assets.
Formulating incentive compensation plans that motivate performance.
Developing and administering a succession plan that ensures the smooth transition of management/ownership in a closely-held or family business from one generation to the next.

While his industry experience is broad-based, Mr. Yuen works extensively with wholesale distributors, commodity futures investment partnerships, newspaper publishers, trade associations and non-profit organizations.

Mr. Yuen joined Benson & Neff in 1967, became a partner in 1973, and a director in 1985. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting from San Francisco State University , and an M.B.A in Federal Taxation from Golden Gate University. As a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants Private Companies Practice Section, he has performed Peer Reviews of CPA firms in California and Oregon.
